If a woman gets raped, that is a life-changing and terrible experience. No woman should EVER have to endure that. Why continue to make your emotional scars worse by aborting the only good thing that came out of that experience, new life.
This newly created life had NOTHING to do with the terrible action of the father. Regardless of that life being conceived out of sexual abuse, I find all human life equal and deserving of life.
If you are not in a position to care for a child, I do believe that the child is better off alive, above all else. There are crisis pregnancy centers and churches willing to help. You just have to search for them. Adoption and foster care is an option too. I personally was born into a very poor household. My family was on welfare and food stamps. I received free hot lunches at school, and was considered an “at-risk” child in the classroom based off of my family’s annual income. But I was alive. And that is what matters. Every human deserves a chance at life. This is why I oppose the idea of abortion.
If my child asks me where their father is, I would tell them he’s not in the picture anymore. How is this different from father’s that leave their children before they are even born? There are plenty of single mothers out there doing a great job raising their kids without a father figure. The way the child was conceived does not determine how valuable their life is.
No need to be rude to me, I don’t even know you. This blog is here so I can answer tough questions as politely as I can. People can always make their own choices in life, I just encourage them to choose life for their unborn baby. I stand for the babies being aborted that don’t have their own voice, and this is what I will always fight for.
